Mike Inco enters his 15th overall season with the Tigers. He is now coaching his 12th consecutive year with Trinity, having also been an assistant during the 1990 and 1991 seasons.
With his leadership, the "Black Flag defense" has enjoyed a great deal of success. In 2006, Trinity's pass defense was the top-ranked unit in all divisions of the NCAA, and it was also the 22nd-ranked overall defense in Division III. The team allowed just 11.7 points/game, which was also top 15 in the nation.
Coach Inco also was the defensive coordinator at San Antonio's Kennedy High School from 1992-1997, and is currently a teacher at Memorial High School.
He began his coaching career at Hobart (NY) College in 1980. From 1981-88, Coach Inco was a linebackers coach with his alma mater, Ithaca (NY) College.
He was also a starting linebacker for the Bombers in his final two seasons, and earned his bachelor's degree in health and education from Ithaca in 1979.
Coach Inco and his wife, Mary, reside in San Antonio with their son, Michael.
