Andrew Baker is in his second year as the secondary/defensive backs coach.

During the 2009-2010 season Coach Baker held a similar position at nearby Texas Lutheran University (Seguin, Texas), a member of the American Southwest Conference.

Coach Baker began his career in 2006, as a graduate assistant at Trinity, his alma mater. He was a full-time assistant coach during the 2007 and 2008 seasons.

A 2006 graduate of Trinity, Coach Baker earned the Bachelor of Arts in psychology.

He was a two-year starting cornerback for the Tiger squad, and played on Trinity’s  2002 team, which advanced to the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl (NCAA Division III Championship game). Trinity won four SCAC Championships during his playing days, and advanced to the NCAA playoffs four times.
