Alex Cook has been the Tigers' wide receivers coach since 2010. He joined the staff from Division II Ouachita Baptist (Ark.) University, where he served in the same role.

Prior to working at Ouachita, Coach Cook held the wide receivers coaching position at SCAC member Colorado College.

Coach Cook is a native of Thornton, Colorado, and graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in history and political science in 2008.  While at Colorado, he served as an undergraduate assistant for the football program.  In addition to working with the defensive line and wide receivers, he also assisted with recruiting.

During the 2007 season, Coach Cook was at Westminster High School (Colo.), where he coached the running backs.  Midway through the season, he was promoted to offensive coordinator.

Coach Cook and his wife, Eirene, reside in San Antonio.
