Coach Steve Mohr Announces Weekly Football Awards

San Antonio - Head Coach Steve Mohr has announced this week's football award-winners for the game against Rhodes this past Saturday, as well as the week of practice leading up to that game.

The awards are voted on by the coaches each week.

Thanks to their strong play, senior Daniel South will be the Honorary Offensive Captain, while Jonathan Osei-Kuffour will be the Honorary Defensive Captain for the upcoming game against Millsaps on September 25.

The awards are as follows:

Hit of the Week: Glenn Etienne
Offensive Hustler of the Week: Joseph Norrell
Defensive Hustler of the Week: Sean Scott
MVP Back: Charlie Wilson
MVP Lineman: Matthew Fitzpatrick
Special Teams: Garrett Biel

Trinity will host Millsaps at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, finishing off a three-game home stand to open up the season.
