Curry Shines Among U.S. All-Stars in Mexico

Tec Monterrey, Mexico - Trinity football player Riley Curry, selected to play for Team Stars & Stripes in the Tazon de Estrellas, has been a standout at practice this week in Mexico.

Not only has Curry impressed on the practice field this week, but he has also showed off his Spanish-speaking skills in an interview with TVC-Deportes, a local TV station.

The game will be held on Saturday, December 19, against the Tec Monterrey All-Stars.  The game will be streamed live on the Global Football Web site, through YouCastr Pro Technology.  The viewing fee is $5 and fans can access it live or catch the archived broadcast on-demand.

Team Stars & Stripes is led by Head Coach Bill Manlove (Widener), who was also the U.S. coach for the Aztec Bowl in 2006 and 2007.  The team is comprised of 50 players from 35 colleges in 20 different states.

Russell Athletic and The Graphic Edge have partnered with Global Football Inc. as official apparel, uniform and ball suppliers for the Tazon de Estrellas.  Spalding, a Russell Athletic Brand, will be the official football for the game, while Russell and The Graphic Edge will outfit Team Stars & Stripes players and coaches in Russell Athletic uniforms and specially designed apparel.
