TRINITY'S SOUTH ON ACADEMIC FOOTBALL TEAM

San Antonio -- Trinity University Tigers junior wide receiver Daniel South of Montgomery, Texas, has been elected to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District VI Football team.

Voting is conducted nationwide by members of CoSIDA, the College Sports Information Directors of America.

South, an economics major, is now eligible for the national Academic All-America Team, to be announced Nov. 24.

He has snagged five receptions for 117 yards and two touchdowns this season.

Trinity stands at 5-3 and 2-2 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
