Stacey was promoted from Senior Secretary to Office Manager of Athletics in 2009. She joined the department in November 2001.

She has managed the extensive day- to-day operations of the department since November 2001.

Stacey also assists with compliance administration and special events. Stacey serves as the departmental sponsor for the Tiger cheerleaders, the Prowlers Dance Team, and the newly formed Trinity Stand Band.

In addition, Stacey volunteers as a University M.E.N.T.O.R. for new employees, and is a member of the Trinity Women’s Club.

Stacey began working at Trinity in August 2000, as a secretary in the Office of Residential Life.

She was honored by her peers as the September 2006 recipient of the Helen Hearn McKinley Classified Employee Excellence Award. The McKinley Award recognizes a deserving member of the classified staff each quarter.

Outside of Trinity, Stacey has long been involved with Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas.

Her professional experience includes working for Mutual of Omaha, Ramada Inn, the Department of Defense in Panama, and Farmers Insurance.

Stacey and her husband Tim have one daughter, Shelby, a 2010 Trinity graduate, who majored in fine arts and communication.
