Seth manages all Trinity athletic facilities and events, and oversees the Recreational Sports Department, which includes Intramurals, Club Sports, Aquatics, and Outdoor Recreation. He has held the position since June 2009.

He joined the Trinity staff in June 2006 as the Aquatics Assistant, managing pool operations and the lifeguard staff. Seth was named Coordinator of Athletic Events in August 2007, when he assumed management for all Trinity-hosted athletic contests, as well as management of the Bell Athletic Center staff.

Prior to his appointment at Trinity, Seth worked at the University of Texas-San Antonio for three years, where he assisted in opening the new recreation center in January 2003. Seth managed programming and open recreation, as well as supervising over 200 student employees.

A native of Greenwood, Ind., Seth received his associate’s degree in physical education from Vincennes University in 1998. He was a member of the men’s soccer team and officiated the sport in both the intramural league and youth local league.

Seth moved on to Indiana State University, where he was a participant in the intramurals program, and was a member of the club soccer team. He earned the Bachelor of Science in recreation and sports management in 2000. Seth later served an internship with the Indiana Blast professional soccer team, and also worked for the Indianapolis Department of Parks and Recreation.

He obtained a Master of Science in sports studies, with an emphasis in sport organization, from Miami University (Ohio). While at Miami, Seth was a graduate assistant in the Department of Physical Education, Health and Sports Studies. He taught physical education activity courses, was a student supervisor in the Recreation Center, participated and officiated intramurals, and coached the men’s club soccer team.

Seth is a member of the National Intramural Recreation and Sports Association.  He currently serves on the Outstanding Sports Facilities Awards Committee, and has made presentations at   regional and national conferences.

Seth and his wife, Brooke, reside in San Antonio.
