Justin Parker is in his 17th year as Trinity’s Assistant Director of Athletics/Sports Information. He joined the staff full-time in 2000.
Justin is responsible for all aspects of athletic communications for 18 sports, including the Athletics website (www.trinitytigers.com), publications, statistics, recruiting brochures, webcasts, and media relations.
He was the interim Sports Information Officer for the spring semester of 2000, following his graduation from Trinity in December 1999. Justin earned the Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration. In addition to his sports information duties, Justin served as an assistant softball coach during the 2002 and 2003 seasons.
Starting with the 2004-05 school year, Justin was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities. Among his duties were scheduling the athletics facilities, working with on-campus and off-campus groups using facilities, and serving as the liaison between Athletics and University Communications.
Justin was honored by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) in 2007, for his work with the sport. He received the AVCA Grant Burger Media Award for the South Region. He is an active member of College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
A native of San Antonio, Justin played football and baseball at Madison High School, earning All-District and All-City honors.
Justin and his wife, Natalie (Thomas), a 2000 Trinity graduate, have a baby daughter, Grace.
