• A stellar pitcher for the Tigers through 1973
• Key member of 1972 team which was ranked 16^th in the nation in the NCAA Division I. Team won 22 consecutive regular-season games.
• Tiger career leader in four categories: single-season wins (12 in 1972), earned run average (1.92), strikeouts (342) and innings pitched (319).
• Tied for third in career wins (24), leader until 1974.
• Second in single-season complete games (11 in 1972).
• Elected to All-Southland Conference Teams.
• Died Oct. 4, 2000.
