Four-time All-American, 1983-86, and a singles record of 117-12.  NCAA Division I Doubles Champion (with Louise Allen), 1983.  NCAA Singles runner-up, 1985, 1986.  NCAA Doubles runner-up, 1985 (with Lisa Sassano), 1986 (with Ann Hulbert); College Women's Player of the Year, 1984, 1985.  Intercollegiate Tennis Coaches Association Senior Women's Player of the Year, 1986.  Recipient of Arthur Ashe Award for Sportsmanship, 1985.  Received Broderick Award (best college women's player), 1986.  Ranked as high as No. 22 in the world in pro singles.  Quarterfinalist at Wimbledon, French Open and U.S. Open.  Won four singles and four doubles championships.

Now is a tennis instructor and USTA grass roots program administrator in the San Diego area
