A two-time Associated Press Little All-American: in '69 as an offensive end and in '70 as a defensive back.

Earned All-Southland Conference honors three times, as a split end and free safety.

Caught 128 passes (eighth in Tiger history) for 1,661 yards (seventh in school history) and nine touchdowns in his career.

Three touchdown receptions in one game (University of Mexico, '69, tied for second in single-game records).

Tied for third in Trinity single-game receptions (12, University of Mexico, '69).

Drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League in '71.

A member of the Trinity University Board of Trustees since '97.
